Fatherdaytrip
At 10:00 AM you embark the Eendracht. After checking the passports and boarding passes coffee, tea and sweets are served in the cozy saloon. The captain welcomes you on board and introduces the Eendracht Crew to you. Afterwards a safety film with instructions will be shown. The bunches will be loosened and if you wish, you can have a tour through the ship. Once arrived at sea, the sails are hoisted. Everyone can give a helping hand. Much muscle power is needed for this job. Lunch is served in the saloon inside. Soup, different kinds of salads, bread rolls, cold cuts and spreads are available. Sea air makes you hungry and that is why the chef surprises you with this delicious lunch. The ultimate fathersday present! After lunch the ship will change tacks and all hands on deck are needed. Would you like to learn steering? You can keep the ship on track by yourself. The captain or watch officer gives you instructions and explains the navigation to you. The crew on board exists mostly out of volunteers. They can tell all facts and figures about the ship enthusiastically and will show you everything on board including the engine room. The day will be ended with the traditional Captains dinner. Drinks and souvenirs can be bought on board.
