Islandhopping Azores, Ponta Delgada
The Azores form an islandgroup and are located on a very special location, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean! The islands, all from volcanic origin belong to Portugal, but the distance from the coast is 1148 km. There are nine islands in total. Islandhopping in the Azores is the ideal relaxing active nature vacation; the are not many tourists on the islands. From Ponta Delgada, the island eiland Sao Miquel, we sail one week around to visit more islands.
