Besides projects for the youth and good causes, the foundation 'Het Zeilend Zeeschip' also offers a variety of trips for other travellers, such as individual day trips and journeys that last several days. The Eendracht can also be chartered by companies for example to enjoy the World Harbour Days in Rotterdam or Sail Amsterdam, a sailing trip or a reception on board. Sailing at sea with the Eendracht is mostly a sporty activity. During a day trip anyone aboard can be as active as he or she desires. The crew will show the whole ship and the cook takes care of delicious specialties. On a multi-day trip every passenger takes part in the watch system, as if they are part of the crew; four hours on, eight hours off. During a watch you will not only be sailing, but also steering, navigating and assisting in and around the kitchen. The professional crew consists of a few payed members, but the ship is mostly manned by volunteers. Needless to say, they too have the required training and certificates to operate a large sailing ship.
