PROJECTS TOGETHER
In 2010 many great projects are on the agenda of the Eendracht. A few examples:Young and elderly
The central theme during this project is to bring youngsters and elderly people in touch. Two generations with different backgrounds working side by side on the Eendracht. For the youth a good way to create more self-confidence while aboard the ship. For the senior citizens, not only a unique day out, but also the opportunity to make new acquaintances.
Foundation 'Friends of the Sophia Hospital'
In July a trip with the foundation 'Friends of the Sophia Hospital' was organized. Children with cancer from this hospital and their families were able to sail along with the Eendracht for a day. This day was sponsored by the Verwater Group.
More projects aboard the Eendracht
- Six times a year freshmen students from the Navigation and Transport College in
Rotterdam sail out with the Eendracht.
- Day trips with Bartiméus, an organization that dedicates itself for the well being of
visually handicapped.
- Tall Ships' Races for youngsters between 15 and 25 years of age.
